Nobel Boy

this fall semester i was kinda of disappointed in my performance school-wise. A lot things that made me question is UF for me. And I think it is. I spoke with my ate/roomie/bestie mawi and she told me its about learning/understanding the material not just crunching the numbers and doing a bunch of practice problems. I have to admit that was my style of studying for the pass 3 years here and I think its time for a change. One very important thing i will never forget that mawi reminded me of is to not gauge yourself on a grade alone but your drive as well. People make C’s and move on but what matters is that you stay on track no matter how long your there and be persistent. Persistent is a word i forgot about. I always used “roll with the punches” and ” power thru ” but its something about persistent that makes me go ham. Even tho i make C’s, I should strive for A’s and B’s this spring and be persistent in my goals. Sure some goals are not reached at the right times but you must be persistent in that you finish them no matter how long it takes. persistence. thanks (ate) mawi!
